The Pursuit of Brilliance Tournament is an online event that gives any chess player the chance of glory! Here is how the tournament will work:
Within the next 24h, pick your most brilliant game of the blitz tournament, and annotate it. Explain how you thought of your brilliant moves.
Then email the link to the lichess.org game with your personal annotations to pursuitofbrilliance.chess@gmail.com.
What is Brilliance?
Chess at 3 will sift through the games, and pick their favorite "Top 10 Most Brilliant Games," and submit those games to our judge, Wesley So. Wesley will pick the Runner Up, and The Most Brilliant Game. The quality of your annotations are just as important as the game itself.
Runner Up Prize - $100
Most Brilliant Game Prize - $200
Winners will be announced on Wesley's last stream before the US Championship, date to be determined.
